What does actually change if father and mother try to share family-related work equally? Which gender-characteristic challenges does this scenario entail for the individuals? What does it mean for the couple dynamics and for the children who grow up in such family constellations? By interviewing couples pursuing ‘equally shared parenting’ and their adolescent children, Karin Flaake traces this question in her qualitative study.
