Abstract

How is economy rethought from a feminist perspective? The manifold answers to this question are pursued in the articles of this anthology. The volume is divided into three essential topics of current research of feminist economy: care-economy, interdisciplinary critiques on central economic concepts, and alternative, politico-economic conclusions. Due to the multilayered articles and approaches, the book serves as an orientational work. However, the authors are not at all satisfied with just criticizing main-stream economy; but they are in fact setting benchmarks, most importantly for further work within feminist economy.
