Ecofeminist perspectives have often been marked as ‘essentialist’, and still today people tend to distance themselves from them with this accusation. However, the current volume Körper Raum Transformation. Gender-Dimensionen von Natur und Materie (Bodies Space Transformation. Gender Dimensions of Nature and Matter) manages to reveal and emphasize the usefulness of perspectives of ecofeminist origin for contemporary feminist and deconstructivist practices and scientific analyses. Generally, the connection to queer and postcolonial perspectives and perspectives of the ‘cripples movement’ holds true for the whole volume.
