This book, which the editors see as an intervention into the Left, focuses on feminist battles. On the one hand, it discusses transformations of feminist theory due to new challenges by deconstructionism and postcolonial criticism. On the other hand, it offers detailed outlines of and discussion about various fields of feminist politics: from antimilitarism, antifascism, anticapitalism, public open spaces politics, and racism criticism to city and sex work, and, not least, also the demand for bodily/sexual autonomy. In doing so, the editors emphasize that feminist criticism always has to find the right balance between positioning and self-reflection, if it wants to be understood as a part of fundamental social criticism.Downloads
