This book, a volume of an encyclopedia, is intended to be a practical tool. It contains an informative overview on the gender relations in ancient Greece as well as insights into the corresponding research controversies in ancient history. The image of a society, which is strictly separated according to gender, is partly relativized based on revised basic terms of historiography.Downloads
