The papers of the Zurich research group “Body, Technologies of the Self: Dissolutions and Limitations”, which also overcome disciplinary boundaries, examine dissolutions, fixations, and (re-) addressings of various body-related boundaries as well as their effects. Political and ethical implications of the formation of boundaries – from the inner psychological to the geographical boundary – are at the center of this issue of the journal figurationen. The eight authors mainly use media representations of the boundary topos as source material.Downloads
