‘Sophie’s disciplines’ is a book for those who like to look beyond the borders of their own discipline and likes to see how theology, oriental studies, history, german literature and linguistics, sociology and psychology work with feminist methods and theories. These studies do not offer a summary or general review of the situation of women’s studies in the listed disciplines. Instead, the authors all involved in women’s studies at the University of Saarbrücken since the 1970s, present the development of work there in their own specific fields.Downloads
