Abstract

The volume at hand brings together current questions, preceding debates and newest findings from the field of gender-critical ports science. Contributing authors vary from older to younger generations. Just as varied are the topics under which contributions are bundled. In this respect the volume manages to convince, but it is not up to date with respect to current debates on theory and methodology, however. There is a lot of catching-up to do regarding perfomative-deconstructivistic, intersectional or critical-materialistic approaches. Insofar future challenges in field of gender-critical sports studies become apparent.
