Clarissa Rudolph presents here an extremely concise introduction to gender studies in political science, offering a brief insight into the empirical research of this branch of research as well as into its theoretical debates. This book is aimed at students who want to get a general idea of this field of research. Inevitably, the concise nature of this book entails generalizations and reductions. For a more in-depth understanding of the subject, it is recommended to have a closer look at the further reading suggestions at the end of each chapter and also consult additional literature.
