This anthology deals with the status quo and the significance of the discussion of gender in political education with the aim of bringing up to date the debate about gender- reflective educational work. The authors answer these questions from both a theoretical and practical perspective. Much space is given to the practice of political education. The authors provide an interesting basis for discussion for both theoretically informed reflections on practice and a practically informed construction of theories. Refreshingly, the inherent contradictions of this approach form the volume's starting point, not its conclusion.
