The edited volume contains contributions from the social sciences that critically engage theories of new materialism by reading these against Marxist-materialist feminisms. What becomes apparent is the call to embed neomaterialist theories genealogically into ecofeminisim and the critical theory of science. Heterogenous approaches to matter and materiality address fundamental questions for feminist practice and theory and thus indirectly respond to dealing with differences within feminism.
