The authors of this collection follow the changes of equal opportunity policies and higher education policies with the help of exemplary case studies within institutions of higher education. Their focus lies on the development in Germany, sometimes including other European countries. The significance of higher education in the normative valuation of processes of change is shown with the aid of empirical contributions without losing sight of the structural level. By doing this, the authors succeed in offering a relevant and readable insight into the current discussion about equal opportunity governance in higher education.
