Abstract

Two recent publications take stock of and revise the results of gender studies, thus advancing future research in the field. The Metzler Lexikon Gender Studies—Geschlechterforschung, a compendium, presents central approaches, persons, and basic concepts. Gender Revisited, on the other hand, an anthology, discusses the current state of the field by presenting contributions from literary studies and media studies.
