Heinz’s book presents projects against domestic violence which have been established in Germany since the 1990s. Relying on the grey material from these projects, the study discusses their strategies and results. It shows that co-operation between state and civil society does make a difference in respect to women’s protection from violence. However, it also makes clear that these achievements must still not be assumed to have become permanently established.Downloads
