In this study on Jewish women working in the Resistance between 1939 and 1945 Ingrid Strobl deals with forms of specifically female resistance. In taking examples from five countries including France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Hungaria and Poland, she covers Western as well as Eastern Europe. She then examines differences and similarities concerning the women’s origins, their actions and their life after war.Downloads
