Can sexual violence be defined? And has the understanding of sexual violence changed in the last 25 years? The authors consider this question and, based on the content analysis of 650 judicial records, come to the conclusion that a desensitization of sexual violence has taken place in recent years. However, according to the authors, their assumption that the judicial definitions of violence are similar to the understanding of violence in the general population remains unproven.Downloads
