Herrmann’s study analyzes the productivity of Oedipal plot structures in German-language literature of the Twentieth Century. In doing so, the study illustrates the persistence of male modes of conflict as typical of Expressionism in post-60’s feminist literature. Herrmann finds de-oedipalized narratives in the American science fiction film.Downloads
