Abstract

Claudia Liesbrand and Ines Steiner’s very worth reading Hollywood hybrid is a collected volume in which Hollywood films of recent years are examined from various angles. Central to the text is the continually complex interaction between genre and gender. With this, the authors enjoy, a few weaknesses aside, ongoing success.
