This publication, developed out of a series of talks at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences Freiburg, introduces readers to the varying perceptions of ag(ing)e in modern society. It is a felicitous collection of contributions from differing disciplines that all deal with the theme of ag(ing)e from their respective perspectives. The articles are between 8 and 38 pages long and are a quick and simple read. Each reader, depending on his or her background and interest, will surely favor one or the other contribution. It is unfortunate that through the differing lengths of the articles, specific thematic emphasis—intentional or not—is set. This should not keep readers who are open to differing points of view on ag(ing)e from reading this book.Downloads
