The volume of conference proceedings Arbeit und Vernetzung im Informationszeitalter (Work and Network in the Information Age) devotes itself to the question of whether and how gender relations in the information society are set in motion. Reflecting both theoretically as well as empirically, the 13 contributions exemplarily sketch the complexity, inconsistency, and ambiguity of the impact of social change on society’s members and points to the persistent powerful force of the category of gender even in a networked world.Downloads
