Until now, the constitution of the artist in the connection between masculinity and creativity has presented itself as the aesthetic norm from which only women could stray. The collection edited by Martina Kessel on the construction of masculinity in the early 20th century shows how the legend was produced in the different arenas of art. She thus creates a new perspective on the ruptures and discontinuities in this specific masculinity.Downloads
