This anthology, the result of a conference organized in September 1997 by the Institute for Slavonic studies at the University of Innsbruck in co-operation with the Austrian UNESCO commission, examines various aspects of the institutionalization and representation of women in Middle and Eastern European culture from a sociological and cultural historical perspective and from that of literary and film sciences.Downloads
