The author sketches the life and influence of Anita Augspurg, placing it in the context of communications history. Thanks to exemplary research of sources, the work at hand presents an objective portrait of Augspurg’s faceted personality. Kinnebrock’s dissertation, completed at the University of Munich in 2001, will long be considered a standard text on Augspurg and will serve well as an introduction to the women’s movement and the women’s emancipation movement.Downloads
