Abstract

This conference volume contains a collection of essays on the heterogeneous forms of women’s lives in Islamic cultural circles. The authors’ shared concern is to strive toward mutual understanding in international discourse. They make this effort concrete through critical and self-critical examination of Islamic circumstances.
