Abstract

The volume introduces the reader to discussions within socioscientific gender research. The volume’s bandwidth includes basic epistemological considerations, the involvement and debate with classical approaches to social theory, and perspectives from Cultural Studies. Consequent throughout the volume is the use of a focus on methodological and methodical questions to form the thread binding together the contributions, however, the definition of the “field of political research” poses many questions.
