Sara Mills presents, in clear language, a concept for analyzing the sexists, racist, and class-based practices of dominance in the colonies of the British Empire based on their spatial dimensions. Her approach intends to integrate as many forms of dominance as possible into the discussion, however, the question as to whether Bourdieu’s habitus concept utilized by Mills offers the appropriate explanation remains unanswered.Downloads
