The collected volume LifeImages. Life and Subjectivity in Recent Approaches to Gender Studies (LebensBilder. Leben und Subjektivität in neueren Ansätzen der Gender Studies) contains thirteen heterogeneous essays from the arenas of culture studies, social studies, art, and the humanities. The contributions engage with life paths of (for the most part) women from different professions, such as in the natural sciences or the arts. The interdisciplinary approach of this volume on the one hand might display the broad spectrum of biographical gender research, however, the contributions are presented in a disconnected manner.Downloads
