Abstract

With the increasing institutionalization of gender research in the natural sciences, there has become an apparent need for an introductory textbook appropriate for students of the natural scientific disciplines and Gender Studies. The collected volume at hand takes on the double challenge of achieving the interdisciplinary translation in both directions. It masters this well, though with a few minor problems.
