Wallner criticizes the feminist representation of the history of girls’ labor since the 1960s as a representation that was truncated and silenced in the interest of self-heroism and should therefore be seen as ideological. The author herself has worked in the area of girls’ labor and politics for twenty years and therefore critically takes on her own (lack of engagement). Her main interest in these times of gender mainstreaming is to promote the renewed positioning of girls’ work within aid for youth.Downloads
