The contributions to the Festschrift for Juliane Jacobi approach “Gender, Religion, and Pedagogy” as categories of historical education research. The majority of the authors of the collected volume focus their attention primarily on the question as to the influence of “gender” on the history of education in modernity. The editors work against the heterogeneity of the contributions generated by the broad nature of the question by dividing the thematic structure of the volume into four parts: childhood and youth, religion and gender anthropology, the women’s movement, and pedagogical occupations as well as forms of sociability.Downloads
