With this comprehensive presentation of little-known literary texts by 170 German-speaking female authors from the years 1730-1900, the editors of the Lexicon of German-language Prose and Drama by Female Authors meaningfully contribute not only to Women’s and Gender Studies, but also to German Studies. By doing so, they are able to show how remarkable the work of women in the 18th and 19th century really was.Downloads
