The central merit of the empirical study at hand is the achievement of clearly describing the network of scholars, politicians, as well as staff of the national and especially the European research administration that made possible the implementation of Gender Mainstreaming in the sixth research framework of the EU. Additionally, the study describes the conjunction between formal and informal political structures and gender expertise.Downloads
