The promotion of “Equal Chances for Men and Women in the Sciences” has been the stated purpose of the German Research Society (DFG) since July 2002. A research project examining gender (in)equality in the research application and acceptance processes as well as the representation of female scholars on the committees and boards of the DFG began three years later. The documentation of this project is now available.Downloads
