The review presents a multi-layered book containing a wide variety of contributions on the subject of gender and technology. The compilation offers a valuable survey of different research approaches. Several authors apply an epistemological perspective on gender and technology to the historic development of various sciences, such as mathematics, physics, genetics and artificial intelligence. A number of essays present the results of empirical sociological work investigating the subjective side of women’s experiences in some technological fields of work and study.Downloads
