This documentation of an international conference provides varying answers to the question whether change, which is essential in forming gender relations in a more equitable fashion, can (also) be initiated through the instruments of law. The varied contributions on the themes of work, family, biopolitics, and immigrant society make clear that while the question of the emancipatory potential of law can only partially be answered, the exchange of experiences and reflections is essential for successful feminist legal politics.Downloads
