Scholars from differing discipline areas and with differing views on the approach to intersexual people speak up in this collected volume, which in this sense is very heterogeneous. The volume portrays experiences with gender passing, analyses terminology, and discusses the problems in therapy and in research. Those at the heart of the matter preface the volume, although their words happily do not seem separate from the rest of the study. The book is absolutely a recommended read, at least because of the closing suggestions for approaching infants and children with ‘aberrant’ or ‘unclear’ sexual characteristics geared toward parents, medical professionals, and pedagogues.Downloads
