The volume at hand originates from the March 2008 3rd Oldenburger Research Day on Gender and School. In the discussions the focus remains on how the authors approach the question as to the chances for and pitfalls in creating gender equitable schools. It must be noted that the book offers up good insight into the various strands of debate on gendered school research. Additionally, it identifies the connections between theoretical gender knowledge, conceptions of gender mainstreaming, and its implementation into practice. The volume is suitable for practitioners and scholars because it offers up clear and brief introductions.Downloads
