The collected volume proves once more that it is primarily women who care for children and the elderly. These women no longer can nor want to do the unpaid and often invisible work. This is also a question of equality. The authors plead for political debate that would correct these grievances. How do we want to live as we grow older, what is support and care worth to us? The questions apply to us all and require a cross-societal solution. Because in the future more elderly people will be dependant on support, care has desperately to be reorganized.Downloads
