Jürgen Martschukat and Olaf Stieglitz’s book offers insight into the current state of research on masculinities. The book, part of the series ‘Historische Einführungen’ (Historical Introductions) published by Campus Verlag, is conceived as a simple introduction to the topic. The book reproduces existing theoretical approaches to masculinity and provides an historical overview of work in the important areas of research: fatherhood, male societies, and male sexuality.Downloads
