The authors, primarily working in the context of psychology and cultural studies, examine the transformation of sexuality, the sexualization of public space, new reproductive technologies, and the phenomenon of de-sexualization. Their emphasis is placed on the question as to the effect of this transformation on social structures, relationships between couples, and people as desiring subjects.
