The volume collects newer, primarily empirically based articles presenting gender research in sociology. The focus remains on processes of construction of hegemonic masculinities in the context of social processes of transformation in Germany. The volume represents the state of German-language discussions with regard to analysis of masculinities. It identifies research perspectives for future academic studies, especially highlighting the necessity to increasingly include an intersectional perspective that could make the discourses of critical feminist gender research even more productive for masculinity research that currently is the case.Downloads
