Both collected volumes describe the relationship of women to (their) money in a richly facetted manner, subjecting it to a profound analysis. Examples for the historical themes examined here include self-employment, entrepreneurship, and stock-market business. A new area of research in women’s rights history thus opens up in light of the international, legal-comparative, and interdisciplinary perspective.Downloads
