In his latest book, Martin van Creveld tries to prove that women are not in fact oppressed, but that really they are the privileged sex. Based on a questionable ‚biopsychological’ concept, the author attempts to legitimate the existing order of the sexes by presenting it as ahistorical truth. His reasoning is riddled with methodological faults, a dubious way of dealing with his sources and rhetorical techniques of persuasion which only serve to discredit the few vaild points his book does make about discrimination against men.Downloads
