This textbook opens out to the panorama of 40 years of controversial research. The volume is made up of organizational texts in the fields of work, socialization, and sexuality, which clarify the historical problems and conflicts with concepts within women’s research in the Federal Republic as well as with social changes. The relative close proximity and thematic similarities of the selection of texts from the 1970s to the present makes understandable the changes in both the positions of the problem as well as the research approach. Excepting the minimal formal weaknesses, the book is a highly recommended “trial course.” The marginal treatment of international debates reflects the research landscape of the Federal Republic but could also be seen as a desirable area for future women’s research.Downloads
